In the morning, start the sightseeing tour of Baku. Visit Martyrs Lane, known as "Shehidler Khiyabany" among locals. Walking through the Alley of the Martyrs, you will find a beautiful view overlooking Baku's coastline. Move to Icheri Sheher, the old part of the city. Visit Shirvanshah's Palace, Caravanserai, Maiden Tower, and the main market square with numerous art studios and souvenir stalls. Continue touring new Baku by exploring Nizami Street and Fountain Square. An excellent round-up to the city tour will be visiting the iconic Heydar Aliev Center.

Today we embark on a full day tour of the Greater Baku and Absheron Peninsula.
The first stop is at Yanardag Mountain, also known as Burning Hill, where natural gas has been ablaze for hundreds of years. Continue to the Ateshgah Fire Temple, located in the village of Surakhany. According to Iranian and Indian inscriptions, Zoroastrians from India traveled thousands of kilometers to Ateshgah to worship the fire coming from the earth.
In the afternoon, drive to Gobustan National Park to visit the Petroglyph Museum and explore rock carvings dating back to 10,000 BC. The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Weather permitting, drive to the mud volcanoes in Gobustan Reserve (change of vehicle). Gobustan is home to almost half of the world's mud volcanoes. Return to Baku in the evening.

In the morning, we leave Baku and drive towards Shekhi, a city in northwestern Azerbaijan in the south of the Greater Caucasus mountain range. We will make several stops enroute.
Our first is stop is at Diri Baba Mausoleum, located about 5 kilometers from the town of Maraza, on the way from Shamakhi to Gobustan. The Diri-Baba Mausoleum-Mosque is a historical and architectural world treasure. Erected in 1402 during the Shirvanshah dynasty, it is carved directly into the cliffside of a rocky mountain, harmoniously merging with its natural surroundings. Its intricate stone carvings, and geometric patterns is an example of amazing craftsmanship of the past.
Continue to Shamakhi to visit one of the oldest mosques in the Caucasus region, the Juma Mosque (Friday Mosque). Its history dates back to the Umayyad Caliphate of the 8th century. The mosque's architecture combines Islamic and Shirvan styles and showcases exquisite stonework, ornate geometric patterns, inscriptions, and decorative motifs.
Weather permitting, we will drive through a scenic Girdimanchay River Canyon to visit Lahij, a picturesque mountain village famous for its stone and wood buildings, traditional crafts, and stunning natural surroundings. The locals speak an ancient dialect of the Tat language unique to the region. They preserve a strong sense of community and cultural preservation, making the area a living museum.

After breakfast, we explore Kakheti, a picturesque region in eastern Georgia known for its rich history and cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and excellent wines. Kakheti is often called the cradle of wine and has a history of winemaking that spans over 8,000 years.
The region is home to traditional qvevri winemaking—a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage practice involving fermenting wine in clay vessels buried underground.
First, we visit the historic residence of the Georgian noble family Chavchavadze in Tsinandali. The residence has a beautiful English Garden, a museum with furnishings and personal family items, and a wine cellar. Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, a prominent Georgian poet and public figure, built the estate in the early 19th century.
We continue to Bodbe Monastery, a pilgrimage site dedicated to Saint Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century.
Next, we visit Sighnaghi, a charming hilltop town with colorful homes, cobblestone streets, and stunning views of the Alazani Valley. The town used to be at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, and defensive walls with 23 towers surround it. Today, Sighnaghi is a popular wedding destination, often called the "town of love."
We reach Tbilisi in the evening and check in to the hotel.

Spend the first half of the day sightseeing in Tbilisi. We start at Metekhi church and monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Continue to Narikala Fortress, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Continue our walk to the sulfur bathhouses, passing the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the old, narrow streets of the Sharden area, brimming with cozy cafés, wine-tasting bars, and souvenir shops. We will also see Anchiskhati Basilica, Sioni Cathedral, the famous clock tower by Rezo Gabriadze Theatre, and the Bridge of Peace, leading to Rike Park. The afternoon is free to rest, explore independently, or relax in sulfur baths.

Today, we explore historical regions outside Tbilisi. In the morning, we drive to one of Georgia's oldest towns and cultural and religious centers, Mtskheta. This ancient town was the capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC. High on the hilltop, you will see Jvari Monastery, a stunning architectural masterpiece of medieval times. Jvari offers spectacular views of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Our next stop is the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of Georgia's most revered religious sites and a masterpiece of medieval Georgian architecture. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of Georgia's profound Christian heritage.
We continue to Ananuri Complex, a historic site that served as a fortress and a religious center during medieval times. Its picturesque setting, architectural beauty, and rich history make it an exciting place to stop.
Driving along the Georgian Military Highway, we pass through the highest point at 2394 m above sea level. We finally arrive at Kazbegi, a small town at the foot of Mt. Kazbek, at 5033 m, the seventh-highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains. Here, you can visit Gergeti Holy Trinity Church and enjoy breathtaking views of Mt Kazbegi.

After breakfast, we drive to Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. The museum is dedicated to the life and legacy of the famous Soviet leader. It includes over 60,000 artifacts and offers a glimpse into his life, rise to power, and complex historical role.
We continue to the ancient rock-hewn town of Uplistsikhe, one of Georgia's most remarkable historical and archaeological sites from the Hellenistic Period. Known as the "Lord's Fortress," it is a testament to Georgia's early urban development and a window into the region's prehistoric and medieval periods.

Today, we say goodbye to Georgia as we travel toward the Georgian-Armenian Sadakhlo-Bagratashen border point. On the other side, we meet our Armenian driver and guide and start the journey to the Armenian land of ancient traditions and churches.
Our firts stop in Armenia, is the Haghpat Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Armenia's most important religious and cultural landmarks. The monastery dates back to 10th -13th centuries. It is surrounded by the serene scenery of the Debed River Canyon and has stunning medieval architecture.
We continue our drive through Dilijan to Lake Sevan, one of the largest high-mountain freshwater lakes in the world. The coastline comprises dense woods, mountain steppes, and lush alpine meadows. After a visit to Sevanak Monastery we drive to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
We reach Yerevan in the evening and checkin to our hotel.

In the morning, we travel 20km west of Yerevan to Etchmiadzin, officially known as Vagharshapat. Etchmiadzin is the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and home to one of the world's oldest Christian cathedrals. Etchmiadzin Cathedral was built in 301–303 CE, following Armenia's adoption of Christianity as a state religion. Armenia is the world's first Christian nation.
In the afternoon, during the Yerevan sightseeing tour, we walk the streets of the city and visit the capital's main sites: the Opera House, Republic Square, Abovyan Avenue, the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, the Cascade Monument with breathtaking views of the city and Mt. Ararat.

Early in the morning, we will head to Khor Virap Monastery. A sacred site in Armenian Christianity, Khor Virap is closely tied to Saint Gregory the Illuminator, who introduced Christianity to Armenia. According to a legend, Saint Gregory was imprisoned in an underground pit for 13 years by King Tiridates III before converting him to Christianity, leading Armenia to adopt Christianity as a state religion in 301 AD. The monastery provides an unobstructed view of the plains and Mount Ararat.

In the morning, we drive outside Yerevan to visit Garni Temple. It is the only pagan temple in Armenia that wasn't destroyed after the introduction of Christianity in the 4th century. One of Armenia's most significant historical and architectural landmarks, it offers visitors a glimpse into the country's pre-Christian and Hellenistic heritage. You can walk down to Garni Gorge and explore cliffs and basalt rock formations known as the "Symphony of Stones."
Our next stop is the Geghard Monastery complex, known for its unique rock-carved architecture and stunning natural setting. The complex was founded in the 4th century around the sacred spring inside of the cave. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it draws visitors from around the world.
