HI Bobby, We returned home to Hawaii about 2 weeks ago from our TransSiberian trip. We wanted to let you know that we enjoyed ourselves and thought the trip was so worthwhile....an interesting and a true learning adventure. Being a retired world history/geography teacher, I still can't believe that I actually got to see the Angara, Lena, Yenisey, Amur Rivers, Vladivostok, Lake Baikal, Ural Mts and major cities in Siberia that played an important role in the transformation of Russian history!!! Thought we'd send you a "feedback": 1)Tour was well organized, especially the individual city touring. City tour guides were "seasoned". 2)You were right!! The food on board the train was more than excellent and ample. Can't think of any item that I disliked. 3)Train attendants were conscientious. Only thing, they could not speak any words in English, etc. 4)Storage was a problem in a sense that we did take small luggages but even then storage was tight. 5)Hot water heater was not working properly so the 15 minutes heat up time was not reliable. There were cold bath and no bath nights. 6)The guide and activities for the pretour arrangements(Moscow Walking Tour and Night Radisson Boat Cruise) was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We did meet people who signed up via Regent in Britain. Yes, they were British and/or Canadian citizens and they had a handbook that provided a lot of helpful/interesting information as the train transversed Siberia ie., map, city/culture information, etc. I will send you a picture of this handbook. Perhaps, you can provide this handbook to future riders of the TransSiberian train. Cost of handbook can be charged to your customers as an option????? All in all, the Morinagas and we totally enjoyed this trip. There may be others to follow in which case I will send them through you. I notice that East West Tour has tours to Iceland AND Greenland. We would like to do this tour one summer. If you have any information on this please email me. Again, thanks so much for your efficiency (I did tell people how good you were as an agent and I often felt that you did not sleep because I would get responses so quickly.).
