Visiting Kangerlussuaq was an unforgettable experience! This remote corner of Greenland surprised us with its raw beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and unique Arctic landscapes.
Standing on the edge of the Greenland Ice Sheet was absolutely awe-inspiring — it felt like we were at the end of the world. We also loved seeing musk oxen roaming freely in the tundra and the surreal stillness of the lake. Our local guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing stories about Greenlandic culture, history, and wildlife. Every part of the trip was well-organized and smooth, from airport transfers to excursions into the wilderness. Polar Lodge was a bit rustic but clean and nice service. Kangerlussuaq might be small, but it left a big impression. We’re so grateful fo Nordic Saga for making this dream come true.

What a trip! What a great time we had! One of the best trips we have ever made. Unbelievable nature, landscapes, mountains, beaches, icebergs.... The guide was very friendly, informative and took good care of us. The hotels had a good standard but not everywhere the meals were up to standard. Our overall experience was entirely positive. Great trip to a beautiful country!

I made this tour, with a friend, in February, 2017. I booked the tour from Nordic Saga as they gave me all the information I needed without delay and with patience. Their assistance was very good and speedy. The tour starts from Reykjavik which is a very nice city with lots to do and see. We spent 3 nights in the countryside, seeing national parks, glaciers, falls, volcanoes, lava beaches, lagoons. The landscapes were amazing. Nothern lights were the highlight. I was truly amazed and cannot compare this experience to anything I saw before. It is a cosmic experience to be recommended to everybody once in a lifetime. Many thanks to the guide who was very professional and gave a lot of information on every sight and phenomenon.
