Our trip from Vladivostok to Moscow in the Trans-Siberian train Golden Eagen was a fairy tale. It was fun to book it through East West Tours as they made it very easy to make a choice (I'm not the one who easily makes purchase decision). The Golden Eagle is akin to a 5-star hotel on wheels, comprising up to 21 cars. Our cabin had a sofa, a work area, an LCD screen, wardrobe, shower, and toilet. The daily activities were either on-train or off-train tours of cities or countryside. The food on the train was fantastic, with plenty of choices of meals and drinks.
