Today we continue east through the lush, forested landscapes of Poland to the Podlasie region and the historic town of Bialowieza. This area is home to Bialowieza Forest, one of Europe’s last and largest remaining primeval forests, preserving an ecosystem that once covered much of the continent.
Visit Bialowieza National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a haven for wildlife, most famously the European bison. Explore the European Bison Show Reserve and learn about these magnificent animals and the unique natural environment they inhabit. Enjoy a gentle walk along the forest trails before continuing to Bialystok.
Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. In the late afternoon, discover Bialystok on a sightseeing tour, including the magnificent Branicki Palace, often referred to as the “Versailles of Podlasie,” with its beautiful gardens and elegant Baroque architecture.

Depart Vilnius and head north toward Latvia, with a first stop at the Hill of Crosses, one of Lithuania’s most remarkable and deeply symbolic religious sites. Thousands of crosses of all sizes cover the hill, creating a unique and moving landscape that has become an enduring symbol of faith and Lithuanian identity.
Continue across the border into Latvia and visit the magnificent Rundāle Palace, one of the finest examples of Baroque and Rococo architecture in the Baltics. Once the summer residence of the Dukes of Courland, the palace is surrounded by beautiful formal gardens and picturesque countryside.
