Dear People: Having just returned from this marvelous journey, we felt we would like to write and tell you how we felt about it. From the start to the finish it was top notch. Our booking agent, Susie Main at East/West Travel(Nordic Saga) in Washington State USA was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and accommodating our requests right up to contacting us by email while we were on the tarmac waiting for our local flight to take off for Vancouver! Thank you, Susie. Tatianna, our train manager /guide/ Russian language teacher, historian, master of last minute planning when things went a little “off track”, consummate impeccably mannered host, made our trip very special. The Dining Room Staff, Servers, food quality and variety were excellent. Our Room Attendants were absolutely fabulous and catered to our every wish. Especially 5 am Americano’s for our out of sync bodies delivered with a smile to our compartment! Always helpful and always courteous. We were in Gold Class Car 2 Cabin 1. The Excursions offered, were of the highest quality. We have travelled a lot on expedition trips before but this trip has them beat as far as excursions go. We especially liked the Freedom of choice trips. Well planned, well thought out. We enjoyed them immensely.
