My husband and I decided to see as much as possible of Russia and started looking for some cruise. East West Tour people offered us cruise on M/S Konstantin Fedin which we gladly took as we trust this company from our previous trips organized by them. The trip was rather luxurious. The room was not big but functional, with a nice bathroom. The beds were comfortable enough. The staff was young and pleasant and well-trained. We liked the food, especially the Russian type with plenty of vegetables. We made friends with a few lovely couples from Austria and New Zealand. The guides on land were mostly very good with good command of English and what we saw was beautiful and fascinating. We enjoyed Kizhi Island, Goritsy, Yaroslavl, Uglich and a few other places difficult to pronounce but each fascinating with interesting history. Moscow and St Petersburg highlighted the whole trip. Those cities are magnificent. We do recommend this trip if you want to discover Russia at a slow pace, stress less and worry less. The downside of this ship was too many stairs in the public places. Generally, we are very happy we had this experience and would gladly recommend it to others. Gian & Serena Milan
