I took this trip last summer and still cannot forget it. It was absolutely unforgettable trip. I always loved travelling by train, but this trans-siberian train was very special. As soon as you see your compartment you understand that it will be more relaxing than any other trip. The train was like a comfortable hotel with impeccable service, excellent food and lots of interesting people to chat with. It was always special to arrive at a station for thirty minutes. There where always ladies selling fish, bread, and sausages. Our touring stops, were at Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, Ulan-Ude and finally Ulaanbaatar. Lake Baikal has fantastic scenery. Another highlight was Ulan-Ude, capital of the Buryat autonomous republic, we visited a town established by the Old Believers, a group of the Russian Orthodox Church whose members were persecuted in the 17th century . I wished this trip would have gone on forever. My special thanks to East West Tour company, who arranges it all so well. From the first contact to this company I was sure I will have something special and I really had. I do recommend this experience to anyone who is ready for adventure. Fabio Iannella, Italy
