This summer a group, five of us completed the Great Silk Road tour offered by East West Tours. This tour was highly professional, well organized and honest. The guides were very experienced, knowledgeable in their history and culture, spoke sufficient English, and were interesting personalities and great traveling companions. The itinerary was well thought-out keeping us busy all the time. Delays and misunderstanding are inevitable in such a long trip but the guides and drivers were professionally and gracefully handling everything for us to experience as little inconvenience as possible. Highlights of the trip for me were ancient Chinese villages, picturesque Flaming Mountains, Iranian architecture and the hospitality of people in Georgia. This tour will stay in my memory for the rest of my life. Karim Blackwood
