We are winging our way to London after a truly spectacular experience. The trip exceeded all of our expectations, we could have never dreamed we would have had such wonderful individuals as guides. We felt more like friends rather than tourists. Both Larisa and Masha were absolutely wonderful, filled with passion for their country and their history. We truly appreciate their openess and frank descriptions of the tsars, the revolution, the soviet time and the collapse and rebirth of Russia. We are saddened to be leaving, but filled with joy and love of Russia.

Great and Wonderful Experience on our "Helsinki - St. Petersburg - Helsinki" Visa Free Tour.
We joined this tour from 15 to 19 May 2019 and were very pleased with all the arrangements made for us. It was a visa free tour of St Petersburg. We had a wonderful tour guide (Anna), who took care of everything for us. Anna is one of the best tour guides we have ever had in all our travels. The tour itinerary covered many of the top tourist attractions in St Petersburg. Our hotel stay was also upgraded to a suite which we much appreciated. Besides enjoying the beautiful Russian culture and local food, we took in the sights and sounds of beautiful St Petersburg. We also had the opportunity on the second night to see a Russian Folk Show ("Feel Yourself Russian") which we

Credit cards not accepted on the train.
Russian rolling stock very out of date.
For our class, we were allowed two free drinks per meal, food was good
The tour guides were good and helpful
It took over an hour to get visas in Turkmanistan. Not that you could do anything about it, just info. One could walk the streets there.alone
