I wanted to let you know how well the trip went…we thought you were  spectacular and all your suggestions were right on. The guide and driver in St Petersburg were terrific.  We had Dimitri as the driver and Anastasia as the guide.  Anastasia made it all real for us and went out of her way to make our experience the best it could be.   We found the guide in Moscow, Svetlana,was  not  of the same caliber but she was certainly competent.

Dora,
I wanted to report on our trip in August before details are forgotten. It was wonderful overall & we were met at each location on time by knowledgeable guides.
Vilnius was spectacular & "Virgina" an excellent guide. We enjoyed the town on our own as well, & had good meals. It is surely a lively place & with the fewest tourists of the 3 countries. The Novhotel was the best we had.
The drive to Sugulda was interesting & stops enjoyable. The hotel was nice, food good, but location very strange.

Well, Barbara and I have completed our trip and have just about gotten back to ‘normal’. The trip was great! Thank you so much for all you did for us in setting the trip up. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. We especially enjoyed the tour of Saint Petersburg. Our Russian guide (Leah Engzell) was really good and she made sure we had a good time and saw a lot of the city. The only glitch in the trip was when we finished the Baltic Capitals tour in Tallinn.

Thanks for your email address, I so hope to plan a group tour with you for my friends and me in 2013.
I just want you to know that I have traveled extensively since 1959 and have never had a more well planned trip.  My husband and I experienced extraordinary care from the tours and guides, to the hotels and the food.  It was indeed the trip of a life time and I was very very impressed with East-West.  I am especially grateful to you for helping me with my special diet.  I came home as healthy as when I left.
