We returned from our trip last evening, and are still quite jet-lagged. I don’t know how you can cross 11 time zones when you travel to Eastern Europe, and still function.My observations (Ilana may add her own later):
We had a really good trip, and only regret that we didn’t have more time to see even more sites. We at least got a taste of each of the countries we visited. Some day we may go back. The highlight of the trip was definitely St. Petersburg, which really would take a week to do it justice.
Hotels were really good. Amarenten in Stockholm was comfy and reasonably close to the attractions. Justus in Riga was a perfect blend of old and new, and very near the interesting sites.

Hello Dora,
We arrived back in Alaska last Saturday and are finally getting back to normal.  There is always so much to do after being away a month, and of course, the 12-16 hours time difference never helps!
We loved the trip.  The itinerary you planned worked excellently for us!  We were happy the whole way.  I took a few notes that I will pass on to you in a separate email if you like.  They may help you and others in the future.  Let me know. Again, Thank you!! Sharon
