Taking this train tour is something you should do once during your life time. You will visit the places you would otherwise not see. Most of the scenery is quite similar, but around the Baikal Lake and in Mongolia the scenery is amazing. Taking this train is easy, and you don't need to do the search and book travel and hotel tickets yourself and worry if all goes well afterward. We booked it through East West Tours, where we got all the information and arrived in Vladivostok pretty sure that we will be taken care of. They are proven experts who know what they are doing. All our hotel stays, city tours and excursions were inclusive, so we had to relax and try to get as much as possible of the sights, history, and entertainments.

The 14 days tours from Vladivostok to Moscow was the most amazing experience ever. The trans Siberian was an amazing adventure – a unique and special trip. This trip is the only way to see all that Russia has to offer. Moscow is beautiful but it is not the real Russia. Tours at various stops were all exceptional. Meals were superb and varied – hard to believe prepared on a rocking train. Everything was great and I cannot think of a more exciting way to experience real Russia. I did this trip in August . I was really impressed by everything starting from the first planning day until we returned home. We booked the trip through East West Tours and were never disappointed. They arranged all the details as we wished and even more. We spent a few extra days in Beijing which was great. This city is so impressive, The Great Wall being an absolute highlight. The train taking us through the vastness of Mongolia and Russia was very good quality and comfortable. The food was very good in Russia and China, not so much in Mongolia, though. You can also try food purchased at the stops along the way which was excellent everywhere.

We booked our 12 days cruise from Moscow to St Petersburg through the East West Tours. I have to say, it was very good value for money. The ship was much better than I was expecting. It was very well equipped . Cabins small but spotlessly clean. The meals were very good with a lot of choices for each meal. The included day tours were very well chosen and the optional tours of Peterhof and Moscow by night should not be missed. The boat made a number of stops along the river at the beautiful Mandrogi, Kizhi with the 18th century wooden Church, Goritsy, Yaroslavl and Uglich. Our Volga cruise was the last summer's highlight. We greatly enjoyed ourselves during this trip. It was fun to meet people from different countries and simply have a good time. Besides, it was undoubtedly the best way to see the Moscow and St Petersburg and to discover previously unknown cities of Russia. Our guide in Yaroslavl was a little treasure. She put all her heart into taking care of us and showing us the best of the city. Unfortunately, the rainy day in Kizhi spoiled it all. So a very good trip all round. Russian River Cruise on ship Chernyshevsky was incredible. We liked this trip very much. The ship was clean and inviting. The crew were very friendly and smiling in contrast to people in many places on land. The food was the best possible. I actually was surprised by the quality of the food, and the way it was served. Lots of choices every day. No one got sick. Free wi-fi . Many fun activities on the boat and interesting trips to lovely cities of Uglich, Yaroslavl, Goritcy and other. We enjoyed slow pace free time in Mandrogui. We made friends with a few nice people on the boat and had a lot of a good time together. Would highly recommend this trip.
