Just returned from the cruise on the Volga river. I'm so glad we decided to do this cruise with the recommendations from the tour company East West Tours.The cruise was arranged very professionally, all details well prearranged. The ship was nice and the service was superb. The crew were helpful and did their best to make us happy. I didn't like all the food they served but definitely could find a lot of everything to my taste. The trips off the boat were well organized and we had a lot of fun in every place. A Russian river cruise is the best holiday I have ever had. Our all family had such a good time. We will do it again sometime. The boat was well-appointed. There was plenty to do on the boat between the stops for sightseeing. The entertainment program was great – I liked the piano recital enormously. I would rate the cruise four plus stars. Time spent in Moscow and St Petersburg was fabulous but too short for such cities. We decided to come back and explore them further next year.The destination between Moscow and St Petersburg were not overly exciting but lovely and well chosen. Guides were knowledgeable and did their best to amuse us. In Mandrogui we bought quality handicrafts for very low prices.

This summer we took a 17 day trip on the trans-Siberian railway, Moscow to Vladivostok with stops in Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ulan-Ude and Irkutsk/Lake Baikal. The trip was set up for us in the most efficient way. The travel company East West Tours suggested the itinerary and all went the way they promised. Hotels everywhere seemed to be up to Western standards, except perhaps Hotel Vladivostok. It was very hot and the room had no air conditionig. Fortunately the windows opened and there was a fan. The guides on the stops were very friendly and spoke good English. We also did a lot of sightseeing on our own which was great . Too much history sometimes is boring. It seemed to be easy to change money in the cities. We used ATM.

Hi, I would like to thank East West Tours for a fantastic job arranging a trip for us from Moscow to Vladivostok. We wanted to see as much of Russia as possible and were suggested to take a semi-private tour by Russian train with frequents stops and overnights en route with private sightseeing. All tour details were arranged for the smooth run, without unpleasant surprises. Everything we had designed and scheduled was delivered and even exceeded our expectations. Trains were good, sometimes it was too rough ride but for the most part, we could sleep well . Food on trains was good, overpriced, though, so we preferred local food on the stops. Time spent in Moscow was stunning. It is one of the most beautiful cities of the world.

On behalf of our group I would like to thank you (Nordic Saga travel company) for so well organized trip across Russia to Mongolia and China. It was a very long trip of 19 days, however, it took us longer to get prepared for it. For over 6 months were brushing up the itinerary to get what we really wanted. Our initial plan was to do it all ourselves but very soon we understood that the experience of professionals was inevitable as the countries we wanted to visit were totally unfamiliar to us. Honestly, we were never sorry to book this trip with East West Tours. They arranged everything perfectly and we had only to enjoy it.

I'm writing to thank East West Tours and especially Dora for arranging us an unforgettable trip to Russia. We wanted this trip to be fun as well as informative and relaxing. East West Tours managed to bring all our dreams and expectations to life. We will never forget the experiences we had in Suzdal's remarkable ancient riverside churches and monasteries , the tragic story of the last Russian tsar Nickolay II and his family in Yekaterinburg and many other stuning experiences. The guides were very professional and very friendly.
