TESTIMONIALS
Vladivostok - Moscow by "Imperial Russia" Train - what an experience!
We booked our 14 days long trip staring in Vladivostok, then via Transsiberian railroad to Moscow. In between Vladivostok and Moscow the train took us to Khabarovsk, Ulan-Ude (fantastic Burat city), Lake Baikal, Irkutsk , Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Kazan. What a possibility to get inside Russia! Everything went very smooth , thanks to East West Tours professional advise and precise details on every aspect of this trip. During the whole trip we were provided with the best service as requested. We had a very memorable trip and will definitely come back to East West Tours again. We recommend this company to all our friends who are interested to visit Russia in worry-free manner.
Volga cruise - good value
We are extremely happy to have booked this cruise. This was an amazing value for the price( fare included the cost of the Visa, all transfers and cruise itself). This also included daily excursions which were very good, and guides were excellent. Our English speaking group was rather small so we had lots of room on the daily tour buses and personal attention from our guide Irina. The rooms on the ship were a little too small, but the meals were fantastic. Who spends time in the cabin anyway..... In both Moscow and St Petersburg there were a few tours for our choice. The one we took was Moscow by Night.
Russian River Cruise on ship Tolstoy - excellent choice
We booked this through East West Tours – Nordic saga. I cannot thank enough for the help this company provided, from arranging flight tickets to booking the best possible room on the boat and helping us with all kinds of personal requests. The ship was clean and modern. Our room was small but it was fully functional with all facilities needed. The food was surprisingly good. The only thing we didn't like was that the table was assigned for all the trip without a chance to change it. Breakfast was an array of items – hot and cold and it was served buffet style. It was nice that each night we were given a menu with several options for the next evening's meal – pork, fish or beef, plenty of salads and desserts. Good choice.
Russian River Cruise on M/S "Konstantin Fedin" - unforgetable Russia
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful 12 day trip from Moscow to St Petersburg on a connecting cruise between them on the Volga river. The boat was nice and modern. All service on the boat were good enough. The nice young girls on the staff seemed to be on their first cruise, therefore they sometimes were not as efficient as one would expect. Anyway, this didn't spoil the charm of the trip. All our guides were first class with a good knowledge of the places we visited. The food was plentiful and very good. The rooms clean and nice. The downside of the cruise was that there was a very noisy group from Finland . The Finish group probably forgot that the cruise was not their private one.
Volga River Cruise on M/S "M. Rostropovich" - lovely experience
We have chosen the cruise on the boat with the well-known name hinting to classical music and were not mistaken. During all the trip we were treated with concerts of not only classical but also folk music played by professionals and probably students who were amazingly good. Other entertainments on board were also fun and engaging, especially the classes of the Russian language. The day tours were well planned and guides were very nice and knowledgeable. The people we met were warm and we felt welcomed. Moscow and St. Petersburg were just breathtaking. Magnificent cities with fantastic architecture, Art Galleries, Metro, good restaurants and plenty of parks. All was very well planned.
Volga cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg - just amazing!
I would like to share my impressions of the amazing river cruise we had . It was from Moscow to St. Petersburg visiting Yaroslavl, Goritsy, Kinzhi and a lovely village of Mondrigor. We had exceptional service from East West Tours and their Russian partners from the time we contacted them, until the end of the cruise. We returned home last week and are still talking about the unforgettable time we had on our trip to Russia. All this trip was service-oriented, with the fantastic choice of hotels, fabulous activities on the boat, interesting day trips to cities and villages which gave us tons of first-hand knowledge of the Russian people and their life. During the entire trip, we felt very safe.
