TESTIMONIALS
The Most Comprehensive Tour of Russia
We just came back from our Grand Tour of Russia. It was all that we had hoped for. The airport transfers appeared when they were supposed to. The guides did too. They were terrific, encyclopedias of knowledge, with excellent English skills, and a warm friendly approach. The hotels were modern, recently renovated, with first class facilities, excellent breakfast buffets, and fast internet connections. The sites we saw gave us a deep appreciation of the sweep of Russian history and Russian Civilization from its Medieval beginnings to the Revolution and Wars of the 20th century, and the rebirth of the 21st Century. The Grand Tour was the most comprehensive tour I could find when I looked for a tour of Russia. It lived up to its billing.
Russia Tour
My husband and I want to thank you for affording us the opportunity to have one of the most impactful, enjoyable trip experiences of our lives. From start to finish, our trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg exceeded all of our highest expectations. This was due in great part to the expertise of the guides that you have employed. Although our initial guide, Rita Babakina was ill (and unfortunately, I can't remember the name of her substitute, but I'm sure that you do!), her substitute was outstanding, as was Oleg Tkachenko. Both were extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and very accommodating. They made every day in Moscow wonderful. Masha Ganina was equally erudite, making every minute interesting with facts and anecdotes.
A very enjoyable trip to St. Petersburg
Hello Bobby, We would like to report to you on our very enjoyable trip with east-west tours to StPetersburg. It all went very smoothly and we were impressed by the Guide Ludmilla who really knows her history of StPetersburg. She also knew how to avoid the queus at the Hermitage while driver Dimitry dropped us and reappeared when needed. On Saturday Marsha took over and we had an excellent visit to Pushkin and the Fountains. Also on Sunday Marsha showed us all there was to see on the Peter & Paul Island before returning us to the ship on time. For the three nights the NashOtel could not have been better.

Perfect for a short visit to St. Petersburg
Thank you to Bobby at East West Tours for putting together a reasonably private tour for us. My husband was in a wheelchair and would have not been able to travel with a group. Our guide and driver could not have been more knowledgeable about Russian history. Such an experience never would have been possible without the expertise at East West. Thank you! – Wendy Kelso -
Somewhat disappointing.
Slow passport control therefore a rushed city tour. The vehicle provided was inadequate for the number of people in the group. I had to sit in the front wedged between the guide (without microphone) and the driver, unsuitable for an elderly person. Second day was better, good vehicle and the guide was well informed. However, I left St Petersburg without any sense of the geography of the city, which is perhaps inevitable in a short tour devoted only to the highlights. – Beryl Haslam -
